WashPost's Right-Wing whore HOWIE KURTZ blames Congressman Foley's 'cruising' for "hot studs".... on teenage Congressional pages! WAY TO GO, WaPo!

The WaHoPo (Washington Whore Post) earns its nickname yet again!

The Washington Post is SO PREDICTABLY DISGUSTING, that (if you can get past the "Decline of the Roman Empire" catastrophe that is befalling us) it is comical to watch.

We've documented Howard KURTZ's pathetic Right-Wing shilling commentaries at the Post before, but TalkLeft.com brings a new aspect of predictability to Kurtz's column and TV hosting: (paraphrasing) "To know what Kurtz is going to talk about, just read the DRUDGE report." (That infamous blog which gave the Righty Repubs gossip and "dirt" all through the Monica scandal and impeachment.)

Howard Kurtz > Drudge Report > The Washington Post.

HEY WaPo editors: Don't you think that Drudge rates AT LEAST A CREDIT or two (or two-thousand)??

BlameThe Kids: Kurtz Follows Drudge's Lead
(Guest Post from Big Tent Democrat)
http://talkleft.com/new_archives/015925.html

You remember what Drudge said yesterday?

Have you read the transcripts that ABC posted going into the weekend of these instant messages, back and forth? The kids are egging the Congressman on! The kids are trying to get this out of him. We haven't got the whole story on this. . . You could say "well Drudge, it's abuse of power, a congressman abusing these impressionable, young 17 year-old beasts, talking about their sex lives with a grown man, on the internet." Because you have to remember, those of us who have seen some of the transcripts of these nasty instant messages. This was two ways, ladies and gentlemen. These kids were playing Foley for everything he was worth.

And The Note says:

Matt Drudge rules our world. . . . So many media elites check the DRUDGE REPORT consistently that a reporter is aware his bosses, his competitors, his sources, his friends on Wall Street, lobbyists, White House officials, congressional aides, cousins, and everyone who is anyone has seen it, too.

So I expected Howie Kurtz to be all over Drudge. And he was, so to speak.

Among the many depressing aspects of the downfall of Mark Foley--who has now done the inevitable checking-into-rehab thing--is that a number of young people could have blown the whistle on this deceptive congressman in recent years, but didn't. . . . Now I don't want to come down on 16-year-old kids (though some are now as old as 21) who must have been intimidated by the whole thing. Indeed, the power imbalance between a big-shot member of Congress and a lowly page is part of what makes this infuriating.

But did they really think that if they told the outside world that the co-chair of the Exploited Children's Caucus was sending them, or their friends, graphic sexual messages, that their future careers would be ruined? That they would be washed up in politics? Isn't it more likely that they would be hailed as brave for doing the right thing?

You forgot to check Drudge Kurtz -- they set Foley up!!!! So you don't go far enough, according to The Note.
