AP repeats Fox "mistake" of labelling disgraced Congressman Foley as a DEMOCRAT....

Brad captures AP, the huge "news feed" news collection service for thousands of major and local newspapers around the country, sending out an article on the Congressman Mark Foley scandal with Foley LISTED AS A DEMOCRATIC Representative from Florida. Of course not only is Mr. Foley a Republican, but for years he has been a hand-picked member of the Republican leadership, a lieutenant selected by Speaker of the House Hastert and former Majority Leader TOM DeLAY to help drive the Republican agenda of GAY-BASHING and other faux (fake) "MORAL VALUES" issues.

The Republican Party of today's Congress and Bush White House HAS_NO_MORAL VALUES. They are systematically trying to drive America as far back to the ante-bellum, slave-state agenda as is politically possible, by DISENFRANCHISING tens of thousands upon millions of American voters, by eliminating as much of the 100 year progressive social safety-net as possible, and by instituting dictatorial one-party rule under the guise of state-of-emergency War on Terror decree.

For those who recall the history of the US Civil War will understand that it is not even necessary to have a policy of outright chattel slavery to push this dehumanizing, soulless agenda. Hundreds of thousands of Irish immigrants entered the Civil War on both sides, most of them landing in Nothern ports (due to the Union naval blockade of Southern ports) and therefore enlisting as Union soldiers. This vast tide of manpower came to America, FLEEING Ireland, because British economic policies had created a massive FAMINE in that nation, as British authorities EXPORTED GRAIN FROM IRELAND as millions of displaced Irish died when their mono-crop subsistence potato harvest failed. Britain at the time had OUTLAWED chattel slavery, But the anti-human policies so dramatically defined by writer Jonathan Swift's literary masterpiece "A Modest Proposal" (satirically espousing canibalism of Irish children as a means of solving England's "Irish problem"), written in 1729, would only bear fruit in the 1850's during Queen Victoria's reign, when up to a million Irish men, women, and children died from the famine as the London Times wrote editorials comparing the suffering humans to dogs.

From "A Modest Proposal" in 1729 to the Irish famine under Victorian "Moral Virtues" in 1846 to the Republican Party of today pushing a DEHUMANIZING, CORRUPT AGENDA under the guise of "Moral Values".... as they say, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Today, AP and Fox "news" are reprising the roles of THE LONDON TIMES, sneering as famine victims as being of no more value than wild dogs and vermin.
