 In particular, Mathews, in an "Hardball" live interview in Iowa, tries to smear Congressman & presidential candidate Ron Paul as a "TRUTHER" - for being an American concerned about the government's official story about 9-11.... AS IF it is PERFECTLY NORMAL, to accept that the United States government DID NOTHING, NOT ONE THING, to prevent the WELL KNOWN al Qaeda intent to PERPETRATE a HIJACKING of similar TERROR PLOT against America in the long summer of 2001...  that was known within America's "intel" communities and national security agencies to be unfolding all through the long summer, especially since the AL QAEDA terrorist SUICIDE BOMB ATTACK on the U.S. Navy ship USS Cole had gone UNAVENGED for almost an entire year while President George W. Bush went on vacations after vacation;  including in Texas for most of August 2001, where Pres. Bush IGNORED a CIA daily briefing, "Bin Laden DETERMINED TO STRIKE IN AMERICA."

Back in the Clinton Impeachment days,  so-called "Liberal Democrat" (and former Democrat Party aide) slobber-fest 'news' anchor Chris Mathews 'won' the (now defunct) MEDIA WHORES ON-LINE  "Media WHORE OF THE YEAR" 'award' - at least one or 2 different years  (against some very stiff "Media Whore" competition, from other corporate propaganda spewing 'mainstream' media 'news' personalities) for PIMPING EVERY LIE that JUSTIFIED the IMPEACHMENT of then President Bill Clinton. 
(By, among others, Republican hypocrite adversaries of President Clinton, including then House Speaker New Gingrich - who was perpetrating adultery behind his wife, while calling for the impeachment of Clinton for far less extra-marital activity!)

  Here's a question for Chris Mathews and ALL THE OTHER MEDIA WHORES in New York, D.C., Chicago, L.A., and throughout America:  "What is the difference, between TORTURE being perpetrated by AMERICAN soldiers, CIA officers, and 'private contractor' mercenaries against 'terror suspects' -  and TORTURE being perpetrated by GESTAPO, KGB, or North Korean police against outspoken regime opponents and dissidents?"

       Clearly, Chris Mathews IS NO "liberal" - HE  APPROVES of TORTURE by his silence, he APPROVES of the "INDEFINITE DETENTION"... = GESTAPO "DISAPPEARANCE" OF  AMERICAN CITIZENS - enacted into law when President Obama recently signed the "NDAA "National Defense Authorization Act" - which allows for AMERICAN CITIZENS to be seized, "detained," ARRESTED, and thrown into the CIA/Mossad torture GULAG INCARCERATION black hole prisons anywhere on the globe - without so much as a phone-call to a lawyer or family!  - merely by being fingered by anonymous government appartchiks as "a terrorist sympathizer." !!!
