"In the Village, the Idiots are turning on each other"Attaturk's depiction of the WaPost's "Queen of the 'journalistic' court" resident "conventional wisdom" pooh-bah, DAVID BRODER, metaphorically wading in to the fray with hooped-skirt and accessories flying, is priceless.

Oh dear, for a couple weeks Dana Milbank and company have been writing pieces of how poor, sweet, innocent Rahm Emanuel cannot get the President to follow Rahm’s brilliant post-hoc advice. The Village shook.
And now it shakes back as Matlock himself unleashes Broderian outrage, to impose social order like Sally Quinn defending her crab puffs from Roger Ailes.
Needless to say, Broder and the Post and Dana Milbank COULD discuss how TWO DECADES of FINANCIAL DEREGULATION created a SECOND major American RECESSION (the Bush-II/Obama Recession) that followed PRECISELY the model of the previous Bush-1 Recession (Phil Gramm DEREGULATION of Savings & Loans, followed by "BAILOUTS" for CORRUPT _PRIVATE_ banksters and failed financial geniuses, followed by TITANIC federal government DEBT to pay for those bailouts for frauds, and, worse, to PAY INTEREST on that debt the very bankers that were bailed out!) but instead the VILLAGE IDIOTS (liars, cheats, and knaves) at the Post prefer to discuss... RAHM EMANUEL's so-called "genius"!
BRAVO! You Post WHORES! Who cares about American children DYING from lack of medical care, or seeing their families EVICTED from their homes as you D.C. elitists whitewash TRILLIONS of dollars in "bailouts" to FAILED, FRAUDULENT banksters...
You all have a permanent place at Sally Quinn's cocktail hour salon, so BRING YOUR KNEEPADS and brush up on your "WHITEWASH, lie, disort, divert from, and polish the Neo-Con coup hijacking takeover of America" skills!
-------------------------------
bonus: Speaking, as we all are, about the Neo-Con's resident "Democrat" Saboteur-in-Chief, today an insightful HuffingtonPost reader decoded Emanuel's entire "genius master plan" in one short, brilliant paragraph:
< See a pattern here? We've seen it with health care and we're seeing it with financial reform. Wait until all that political capital is gone, any real potential for those promised big policy changes - you remember, change we can believe in - is ground into dust, so that there is no viable chance of real reform, and then, bring forth your watered down plan, so that during the next political campaign, it may be said that " at least, we tried". >
Yep, boys & girls, THAT is the Neo-Con "master plan" that David Broder, Dana Millbank, Richard Cohen (and, again, here) , and All the other resident "VILLAGE IDIOTS" at the Washington Post have been relentlessly felling entire forests of trees, and spilling oceans of ink, to applaud and promote over the past dozen+ years!
