Michael Moore rips Wolf Blitzer for CNN's propaganda news-whore spin....

Michael Moore to Wolf Blitzer: (paraphrasing): "YOU are the ones fudging the facts.. you were WRONG about the Iraq war 4 years ago, and it took you three years to visit Walter Reed Hospital to check up on our wounded returning combat veterans!"

In his first appearance on CNN in three years, "liberal" movie producer and director Michael Moore takes CNN 'news' anchor WOLF BLITZTER to task, for Blitzer's perfection of his job of being an APOLOGIST for the entire laundry list of Bush administration (which is to say, "Right-Wing") lies, distortions, failures, and failed policies.

In typical "major media 'news' whore" fashion, Blitzer's segment on Moore's new film "Sicko" about America's health-care industry starts by spinning Moore's film as "controversial," and "playing loose with the facts."

Instead, Wolf Blitzer COULD have started by pointing that the movie does NOT concentrate on America's UNINSURED.... "Sicko" instead concentrates mainly on those who HAVE (or had) health insurance, only to be DENIED CARE by bureaucratic, red-tape rules in situations where at least two INSURED PATIENTS _DIED_ when they failed to get timely care or operations. Indeed, in typical Media whore fashion, the CNN segment concentrates on WAITING TIME for doctor visits... as if an extra half-hour spent in the waiting room is more important than being DENIED COVERAGE for life-saving operations and treatments which American health administrators delight in DENYING patients.

To his credit, Moore EXPANDS his pushback of Blitzer's CNN BIASED spin on "Sicko" and the health care industry, to Blitzer and CNN's relentless CHEERLEADING for the invasion of Iraq 4 years ago. "YOU'RE THE ONES FUDGING THE FACTS about this issue (Sicko) and THE WAR" Michael tells Blitzer, "WHERE WERE YOU on the Veterans health care scandal... I covered Walter Reed hospital in my movie "Farenheit 911" THREE YEARS AGO!" (Whereas the 'mainstream media' only recently covered the scandal of neglect and denied coverage to combat veterans at Walter Reed hospital - the American military's showcase hospital, when America's returning combat veterans face even worse conditions at more remote, far-flung military bases.)

And, finally, Blitzer tries to wrap up his interview by asking the de rigeur "HORSERACE" question: "Which candidate do you endorse.. is Dennis Kucinich your candidate?"

This is the Alpha and Omega of American media whoring - trying to tag every issue in America, whether health care, jobs, outsourcing, social security, national defense, or anything, to the personality of leading candidates and newsmakers. By trying all such issues to PERSONALITY, Blitzer and America's other news whores can MARGINALIZE those issues by picking apart character flaws in the candidates who promote those issues - just as America's government ignored and dismissed the 15th amendment for almost 100 years ("the right to vote SHALL NOT BE ABRIDGED by race or previous condition of servitude") even though segregation and disenfranchisement did exactly that.
