HERE, in two paragraphs, is the secret for why the WHORE NEW YORK TIMES is so abjectly in favor of the CORRUPT, budget-busting, nation-busting, social-safety-net shredding policies of the Bush-Rethuglican administration, even though the Times has earned the moniker from (misleading) right-wing pundits as a so-called "liberal" news organization:
The Och-Sulzberber family CONTROLS FAR MORE DIRECTORS SEATS on the Board of Directors than their percentage of stock ownership would indicate, through a split or dual share class stock that gives the Ochs-Sulzberger family control of the paper.
NY TImes CEO Janet Robins complains about the forces "tearing at the heart of some of the great journalistic insitutions of our country."
The fact is that GREED has already "torn at the heart" of the journalistic institutions of America, and that the Times, having led that degeneration, hardly qualifies as a "GREAT" journalistic institution any more.
They are PAID PROFESSIONAL LIARS, seeking to UNDERMINE AMERICAN DEMOCRACY, rip apart the American social safety net created over 100 years of progressive politics (and built on the tradition over 200 years old of ever-increasing EMPOWERMENT of even wage-earning Americans in the political process), by making MOUNTAINS OUT OF MOLEHILLS in the case of democratic administration (the "Travel-gate," "Lincoln-bedroom," and "White House Trashing" scandals were ALL MANUFACTURED SCANDALS, created by the Rethuglican propaganda machine with the willing COMPLICITY of the NEW YORK WHORE TIMES)...
....while the Times joins the Rethuglicans in DEMEANING disenfranchised Florida Voters, anti-war protesters, torture victims, and even Iraq war combat veterans, whose SACRIFICE is all by CENSORED from the pages of the WHORE Times and other "major media" press.
The New York Times: competing, with the Washington Post, for the title of "MOST CORRUPT 'news' ORGANIZATION in American history" - "We don't count all the shareholder votes, which is why we support George W. Bush and the Rethuglican Party not counting American citizen's votes."

Ochs-Sulzberger Family Won't Yield Control Over Times Board
Posted on Dec 7th, 2006 with stocks: MS, NYT
The Ochs-Sulzberger family, owners of a controlling vote on New York Times' board, has no intention of loosening its grip on the paper. There has been growing pressure, largely from minority owner Morgan Stanley, for the family to eliminate the dual share class structure that gives the Ochs-Sulzberger's nine of thirteen board seats despite owning a far smaller proportion of the paper's outstanding shares. Times CEO Janet Robinson said yesterday that the family "has no intention of opening any doors to the action that is tearing at the heart of some of the other great journalistic institutions of our country." She also denied rumors the Times would willingly part with the Boston Globe calling the paper an important asset.
